GTC Contracting, was started by my Father back in 1946 pictured on the left.

A Family Business since 1946! Started by my Father, he retired, and I took over the Company in 1978, this year we are celebrating 64 years of a family tradition that prides itself on Honest, Reliable, and Quality service in Westchester area.

I remember riding in that car when I was 9 years old, helping him on the weekends, he had 8 brothers in the same business back in the day, and when I went through my teen years, I worked at one time for each and every one of them, no excuses back then to get out of working....

Do Your Homework
Recommendations and word of mouth are usually how we get most of our work, and are best way to find a good Contractor, but if we weren't recommended, ask for our list of our refferences, give them a call and feel free to ask them all about how pleased they were with our work and performance, some of them may even let you come and see the work for yourself !
We give a written contract with as much detail as you need, for every job we do.
Feel free to shop around, we are confident we can beat most prices.

Avoid Contractors Who
are unlicensed and not insured, remember!  Home Improvement Contractors need a License, Workers Compensation, as well as Liabilty and Disability insurance. If a worker gets injured on your job, you can be sued for lost wages and damages.
Avoid Contractors who show up at your doorstep unannounced or contact you through telemarketing, or
Use high pressure sales pitches, or with promises that appear " to good to be true" or refferences that can't be reached by phone.
Avoid Contractors who tell you there's no need for a written contract, demand payment in cash, or ask for a deposit before work is even started.
(We at GTC Contracting / Kitchen and Bath by Regent do not take a deposit untill we are in your house and working).

Feel secure !  Why ?
Because GTC Contracting / Kitchen and Bath by Regent is a ground level Contractor and Kitchen and Bath Design Center,
what that means is that we operate our business out of a ground level corner store, located @ 256 S. Regent St. Port Chester, NY where you can find us every day, you can call us, or walk in and feel free to be updated with any questions or problems that you may have with your project, you will know where we are all the time, if needed ! Hows that for security?
Avoid Contractors, or Kitchen and Bath dealers who operate from some unknown address, PO Box number, pull up in a stray van, or who operates from just a Cell phone number. I hope these tips have been helpful, we encourage all of our clients to fully investigate our reputation, before you hire us. Thanks for you interest.
